Beatriz Alpaca Sock
Approximately 437 yards/100 grams
60% Superwash Merino wool 20% Nylon 20% Alpaca, 4 ply fingering weight.
Beatriz Alpaca Sock is named after designer Beatriz Canedo Patiño she was known as the queen of Alpaca because her designs were often made with Alpaca fibers. This is a gorgeous alpaca blend yarn with great versatility. The Twist and nylon make it durable enough for socks. The superwash merino and superfine alpaca make it soft enough for next to the skin wear. This yarn can be used for anything from socks to hats and everything in between!
One skein should be enough for a pair of socks, but be sure to check your pattern's requirements.
Each hank is unique if using more then one its best to alternate hanks every few rows.
Care: Hand wash cold & lay flat to dry. If you must machine wash I strongly suggest a garment bag and COLD water. Washing hand dyed yarn in water above 106f can break the bond between yarn & dye.
I do my best to represent colors accurately, but they may vary slightly when viewed on different monitors and screens
